The last few winters have been pretty mild, but this year has made up for it ("global warming" my donkey). We've had consistent bone-chilling temperatures this year and today we woke up to a foot of snow on the ground.
I have to say WE are feeling the global warming part down here in FL this winter....have had very few cold days, but lots and lots of days in the 60s and 70s. The last time it got down into the 30s my son said "man, I wish it would stay this way for awhile! I'm sick of the hot weather!" LOL
I live in the Indianapolis area. I'm married with three kids and work in marketing. I love IndyCar racing, the Colts, the Reds and the Hoosiers. I raise yaks in my back yard. I breed them to make purses for Scandinavian roller skating professionals and I use their hoofs to make soup. I like soup.
I do my best to check out the blogs and web sites that I link to from my blog. However, I cannot take responsibility for what lies beyond the pages of Big Doofus Blog. If you don't like something on the Internet, please send a note to Al.Gore@internet_inventor.gov.

A whole foot? Yikes! We had about 4-5 inches.
I suppose we should be grateful it wasn't ice.
Makes you wonder when Al Gore is going to take a deep breath and hold it for a while, doesn't it?
