"You're 'Old School' man!"
That's an expression that I hear from time to time these days. In fact, just the other day one of my co-workers told me that I was "Old School" because I still use a paper calender. Well, if that's the case, I discovered the ultimate in "Old School" during our recent trip to Nashville, Indiana for a church leadership retreat.
That's right. Down in Nashville they use the restroom the "Old School Way". I'm not sure if that means they have out houses or if there's a certain old way that they actually go to the bathroom that I don't know about. Perhaps you old people could fill me in.

I'm kinda mad my parents never taught me the "old school way". It would have been nice to know what to do.
I used that restroom! There wasn't much to it.... just a a little shed in the back with a hole in the floor. HA! jk
I am thankful to get to use my modern, flush toilet the new-fangled way.
It's probably just a big bush.
I'm not even going to "go" there. Literally or figuratively.
I'm thinking 'old school' bathroom going might have leaves instead of tp? I'm only 30 so this is total guessing.

p.p.s. did you have any success in getting co-workers to do the hokey pokey?...that's pretty old school too ya know.
Was there an outhouse nearby? My parent's still remember using them when they were very young. As for me we go "Old School" on our deer lease. We have a two-holer dug our about 20 yards away from our huntin' camp. I try my best not to go though. Whewww, the smell.

I certainly hope it means they have an old Sears & Roebuck catalog hanging on a nail.
