Here's another TDJ entry from ten years ago today...
July 27, 1998
I just remembered my locker combination from my senior year in high school! Isn't it amazing how our minds work like that? It was something like 22-something-something, I think. Wait, I know there was a 2 in it. It may not have been 22. Man, that's amazing.
Hey, it's Sunday and I cannot think of anything creative to come up with today. Besides, this was perfectly fine in 1998 when we had three readers. These days, I'm almost certain that I have four, sometimes five readers and only two of them used to write on TDJ.

wow, you have an amazing memory
I, for one, am totally impressed with the improvements in your writing skills.:)
And yep, the IndyCar in Edmonton. I have to say that after 3 days, the constant droning of cars gets a little wearing. Not to mention the F-18 flyovers... directly over my house...
I can top it. My phone number from the house we lived in until I was 8 years old was 365-2355.
Don't recall my highschool locker combination, but I do recall the handstitched teddy bear face hanging inside which read, "Toni loves Carl." ;)
Blessings,
~Toni~
I'm sad I didn't comment on the TDJ posts earlier. Maybe I can sneak in a memorial post on Java Jesus sometime.
I think I used up all of my best writing by the end of 1999, usually consisting of something involving lunch meats and random ferret references.
I am happy (disgusted?) to say that I was a faithful TDJ reader, and I actually remember that post.
Sincerely,
Goat of Your Transgressions
